I recently purchased this laptop through Amazon. I have been very happy with this product. I really debated between this one and the 2170 with the faster processor, however I didn't really want to spend the extra money on the 2170. The 2162 is very fast. I use it mainly for internet and school. I do play some games and it seems to handle them just fine. I think this is a good processor and would recommend it to people who use it for what I do.
There is plenty of hard drive on this computer. I enjoy having all the memory for pictures and videos and many other misc. stuff. I had a toshiba with half the hard drive and I didn't fill that one up in 2.5 years. I haven't really played with the picture and video programs yet, but they seem to do a lot.
The battery seems to have good life, and last a few hours while unplugged. The screen has good picture quality. I watch netflix on it and it works very well, and has good quality.
I enjoy the keypad because of the 10key on it. However, it does take a little getting used to since the keys and the touch pad are a little off centered from a standard laptop. The touch pad seems to be very good also. It has enough USB and other connections that come in handy!
The only thing that I am a little disappointed in is the speakers. My last laptop, the toshiba, hard very good quality speakers with a little sub. These ones are a little weak, but they are ok.
Overall this is a good laptop, and I would recommend it to others.Get more detail about HP Pavilion DV6-2162NR 15.6-Inch Black Laptop--Up to 4.25 Hours of Battery Life.
