Bought the T135-S1330 for my daughter for college.
The speaker problem was easily fixed (best fixed using the "loudness" technique).
The touch pad issue doesn't seem to be an issue, and the web cam issue (originally disappointing) seems to work fine in actual use.
This left a perfectly working laptop that is very fast, light, and attractive.
I'm happy that I didn't get the T135*D* model (AMD Turion Neo) - my sense is that they run hotter with less battery life. (Also less memory and smaller disk on some.)
Currently, this item seems to be out of stock (and shows some ridiculous price for an unrelated item!). I can't find it for sale on Toshiba's web site either - only the D model is listed as "pre-built". I don't understand this. Does Toshiba custom build them for their distributors? In any case, I hope Amazon gets the new models of the T135 back in stock.
If I had to do it over, I might have checked out the Asus UL30A a bit more, but I have no regrets (so far!) with this model.Get more detail about Toshiba Satellite T135-S1330 TruBrite 13.3-Inch Ultrathin Laptop (Black).
