Acer eMachines E525-2200 Notebook PC - 15.6" LCD / Intel Celeron 900 2.2GHz / 3GB DDR2 / 250GB HD / DVD±RW/CD-RW drive / 802.11b/g Wireless LAN / Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I bought this computer on a whim while in an unamed superstore. It was on special for $299. I have to say it's a a great computer for the family, especially for the kids who don't really know how to type yet. But, for those of us who grew up going to typing class in high school, I have to say that they keyboard is not very user friendly. It's off-set somehow, to accommodate for the numeric pad, I guess, but it makes it hard to type the old-fashioned way. Plus, the letters on the keys are light gray on a black background, which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to see them in low-light. Since the delete, insert, etc. keys are in different places on every computer, I find it extremely frustrating to find those extra keys on this laptop. Other than that, it's fast, reliable and otherwise a great bargain!Get more detail about Acer eMachines E525-2200 Notebook PC - 15.6" LCD / Intel Celeron 900 2.2GHz / 3GB DDR2 / 250GB HD / DVD±RW/CD-RW drive / 802.11b/g Wireless LAN / Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
