I purchased this notebook a month ago, and sent it for repair a week after purchase. Two weeks later they sent it back with a dirty screen, but not repaired. They suggested I take it to a Best Buy or send it back in for another attempt. Yesterday the keypad quit working, rendering it useless. I suggest you look for a brand that has a high customer service rating - ASUS doesn't understand customer service.
btw The battery life is only 11.5 the first time you use it - after that it is about 4.5 hours.
