This laptop gives me the performance I seek for with the right price. Long battery life and light weight makes it even more convenient however there are some issues that hold me from giving it a perfect score.
First, if you do not intend to play games on this laptop, I would not recommend buying a dual graphics laptop at all.
The graphics card is capable and delivering the goods. Don't expect miracles but it sure helped me passing the time with fun racing and shooter games.
The build quality is good but not perfect. I already accidentally dropped it 3 feet high and nothing really happened to it, however the keyboard quality is mediocre. The plastic net that surrounds the keys is flimsy, doesn't give the keyboard rigidity and I cannot understand it existence. The keyboard has some flexibility but the keys are stable and easy to type on.
The second annoyance / quality issue is the screen. The screen is sup-bar and underperformed any modern screen that I've seen, especially for LED back lit LCD.
There are two issues with the screen, the viewing angle is not satisfying and every time I change my viewing position I have to readjust the screen's tilt. The second issue, which is more severe, is the screen's color rendition. I have compared the colors of items like the Kitchen-Aid artisan mixer here on Amazon with two different laptops and was really disappointed with this screen. I even tried a special monitor calibration wizard. If you are looking for a quality screen, this is absolutely not the case.Get more detail about ASUS UL30Vt-X1 Thin and Light 13.3-Inch Black Laptop (11 Hours of Battery Life).
