This laptop is better than I expected. I wanted something portable to use on travels, but not necessarily be my main computer. I figured that unless I was willing to shell out quite sum of money, i could not have both a portable with some processing power (e.g. more than the atom could offer). After using a netbook in stores, i could not fathom using a small keyboard and screen resolution for long, so i took the plunge with Acer 1410 11.6" sized notebook.
It turns out this buy was better than I could have hoped. The resolution on this notebook is the standard 1366x768 seen on most larger laptops, so there is good screen real-estate available. The keyboard is also easy to use, though the feel and bounce back could be a little better. The battery life is very good ... i've gotten the full 6 hours that is advertised. And the kicker is that i use this laptop much more than my main computer now! Now my "main" computer is strictly for heavy processing, and i use this for everything else.
